Who we collaborate with

Stichting PRO is a copyright organisation for publishers. Similar organisations exist for authors (Lira), sheet music publishers (Femu), and visual creators (Pictoright). Stichting PRO collaborates with them to jointly represent the interests of all copyright holders in the Netherlands. Agreements are also made regarding how the fees are distributed.

Cedar BV

Stichting PRO is a foundation and does not employ any staff directly. The implementation of its schemes is managed by Cedar BV. Cedar BV. Five other copyright organisations have also entrusted the execution of their activities to Cedar. Approximately 10 individuals work for Stichting PRO via Cedar.

 

Mediafederatie

Stichting PRO was established by the Mediafederation (formerly the Dutch Publishers Association). The Media Federation remains actively involved with Stichting PRO. For example, we receive direct support from a legal adviser provided by the Media Federation. This adviser attends all meetings.
